A vulnerability has been found in FFmpeg up to 2.0 (Multimedia Processing Software) and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects the function decode_frame of the file libavcodec/dxa.c. The impact remains unknown.
The weakness was shared 08/16/2013 by Mateusz Jurczyk and Gynvael Coldwind as confirmed git commit (GIT Repository). The advisory is available at git.videolan.org. The vendor cooperated in the coordination of the public release. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit.
