A numeric overflow in Skia in Google Chrome prior to 58.0.3029.81 for Linux, Windows, and Mac, and 58.0.3029.83 for Android, allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory read via a crafted HTML page.
The bug was discovered 04/19/2017. The weakness was shared 04/19/2017 by Wadih Matar with Zero Day Initiative as Stable Channel Update for Desktop, April 2017 as confirmed news (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at chromereleases.googleblog.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2017-5063 since 01/02/2017. The attack can be launched remotely.
