A vulnerability has been found in Wireless IP Camera WIFICAM (Network Camera Software) (affected version not known) and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown functionality of the component RTSP Server. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a improper authentication vulnerability. On Wireless IP Camera (P2P) WIFICAM devices, an attacker can use the RTSP server on port 10554/tcp to watch the streaming without authentication via tcp/av0_1 or tcp/av0_0.

The bug was discovered 03/08/2017. The weakness was released 04/25/2017 (Website). The advisory is available at seclists.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2017-8223 since 04/25/2017. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
