A vulnerability was found in Wireless IP Camera WIFICAM (Network Camera Software) (the affected version unknown) and classified as critical. Wireless IP Camera (P2P) WIFICAM devices have a backdoor root account that can be accessed with TELNET.
The bug was discovered 03/08/2017. The weakness was disclosed 04/25/2017 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at seclists.org. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2017-8224 since 04/25/2017. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
