A Remote Code Execution vulnerability in HPE OpenCall Media Platform (OCMP) was found. The vulnerability impacts OCMP versions prior to 3.4.2 RP201 (for OCMP 3.x), all versions prior to 4.4.7 RP702 (for OCMP 4.x).
The bug was discovered 03/20/2017. The weakness was released 04/25/2017 as EDB-ID 41927 as confirmed exploit (Exploit-DB). The advisory is available at exploit-db.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2017-5799 since 02/01/2017. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely.
