A Remote Code Execution vulnerability in HPE OpenCall Media Platform (OCMP) was found. The vulnerability impacts OCMP versions prior to 3.4.2 RP201 (for OCMP 3.x), all versions prior to 4.4.7 RP702 (for OCMP 4.x).
The bug was discovered 03/20/2017. The weakness was disclosed 04/25/2017 as EDB-ID 41927 as confirmed exploit (Exploit-DB). It is possible to read the advisory at exploit-db.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2017-5798 since 02/01/2017. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
