A vulnerability classified as critical was found in Apple watchOS up to 3.2.1 (Smartwatch Operating System). This vulnerability affects an unknown function of the component AVEVideoEncoder. An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. iOS before 10.3.2 is affected. tvOS before 10.2.1 is affected. watchOS before 3.2.2 is affected. The issue involves the "AVEVideoEncoder" component. It allows attackers to execute arbitrary code in a privileged context or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted app.
The bug was discovered 05/17/2017. The weakness was shared 05/22/2017 with Zimperium zLabs (Website). The advisory is shared for download at support.apple.com.
