The bug was discovered 05/31/2016. The weakness was disclosed 05/31/2017 by Simon Lukasik with Red Hat as RHSA-2017:1367 as confirmed security advisory (Website). The advisory is shared for download at access.redhat.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2016-4457. The exploitability is told to be difficult. It is possible to launch the attack remotely.
