A vulnerability was found in libquicktime 1.2.4. It has been rated as problematic. This issue affects the function quicktime_video_width of the file lqt_quicktime.c of the component MP4 File Handler. The quicktime_video_width function in lqt_quicktime.c in libquicktime 1.2.4 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (heap-based buffer over-read and application crash) via a crafted mp4 file.
