A remote code execution vulnerability exists in the way the Microsoft Edge JavaScript scripting engine handles objects in memory. If the current user is logged on with administrative user rights, an attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could take control of an affected system. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights.

The vulnerability scanner Nessus provides a plugin with the ID 100763 (KB4022725: Windows 10 Version 1703 June 2017 Cumulative Update), which helps to determine the existence of the flaw in a target environment.
