The bug was discovered 06/13/2017. The weakness was released 06/13/2017 by Mateusz Jurczyk with Google Project Zero as KB3191837 as confirmed security update guide (Website). The advisory is shared at portal.msrc.microsoft.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2017-0286 since 09/09/2016. The attack may be initiated remotely.
