A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in ImageMagick 7.0.6-0 (Image Processing Software). Affected is the function mng_get_long of the file coders/png.c of the component MNG Image Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. The mng_get_long function in coders/png.c in ImageMagick 7.0.6-0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (heap-based buffer over-read and application crash) via a crafted MNG image.
