A vulnerability was found in Sound eXchange 14.4.2. It has been rated as problematic. This issue affects the function read_samples of the file hcom.c of the component hcom File Handler. The read_samples function in hcom.c in Sound eXchange (SoX) 14.4.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (invalid memory read and application crash) via a crafted hcom file.
