A vulnerability was found in ImageMagick 7.0.6-3 (Image Processing Software). It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects the function RelinquishMagickMemory of the file coders/png.c. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a use after free vulnerability (Free). In ImageMagick 7.0.6-3, a missing NULL assignment was found in coders/png.c, leading to an invalid free in the function RelinquishMagickMemory in MagickCore/memory.c, which allows attackers to cause a denial of service.
