Affected by this vulnerability is some unknown functionality of the file PixlrEditorHandler.php. The manipulation of the argument path with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Directory traversal vulnerability in PixlrEditorHandler.php in Synology Photo Station before 6.7.3-3432 and 6.3-2967 allows remote attackers to write arbitrary files via the path parameter.

The bug was discovered 08/07/2017. The weakness was published 08/08/2017 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at synology.com.
