A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Synology Photo Station up to 6.3/6.7.3 (Network Attached Storage Software). This affects an unknown code of the file PixlrEditorHandler.php of the component File Upload. Unrestricted file upload vulnerability in PixlrEditorHandler.php in Synology Photo Station before 6.7.3-3432 and 6.3-2967 allows remote attackers to create arbitrary PHP scripts via the type parameter.
The bug was discovered 08/07/2017. The weakness was disclosed 08/08/2017 (Website). The advisory is shared at synology.com.
