The bug was discovered 04/23/2015. The weakness was presented 09/28/2017 by Tavis Ormandy as EDB-ID 36820 as not defined exploit (Exploit-DB). The advisory is shared for download at exploit-db.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2015-3643 since 05/04/2015. The attack needs to be approached locally. A single authentication is needed for exploitation.
