A vulnerability was found in Fiyo CMS 2.0.1.8 (Content Management System). It has been declared as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is the function administrator of the file fiyo/dapur of the component Access Restriction. The manipulation of the argument view as part of a Parameter leads to a access control vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-284. Fiyo CMS 2.0.1.8 allows remote attackers to bypass intended access restrictions and execute the (1) "Install and Update" or (2) Backup super administrator function via the view parameter in a direct request to fiyo/dapur.
The bug was discovered 03/30/2015. The weakness was shared 10/16/2017 by Mahendra as EDB-ID 36581 as confirmed exploit (Exploit-DB). It is possible to read the advisory at exploit-db.com.
