A vulnerability was found in Fiyo CMS 2.0.1.8 (Content Management System) and classified as problematic. This issue affects an unknown code of the file dapur/index.php. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in Fiyo CMS 2.0.1.8 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) view, (2) id, (3) page, or (4) app parameter to the default URI or the (5) act parameter to dapur/index.php.
The weakness was presented 04/14/2015 (Website). The advisory is shared at packetstormsecurity.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-9146 since 11/29/2014. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
A public exploit has been developed by Mahendra and been published before and not just after the advisory. The exploit is available at exploit-db.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept.
