A vulnerability has been found in phpMyFAQ up to 2.9.8 (Content Management System) and classified as problematic. In phpMyFAQ before 2.9.9, there is Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in admin/stat.ratings.php.
The bug was discovered 09/27/2017. The weakness was presented 10/22/2017 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2017-15730 since 10/21/2017. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
