Use of an uninitialized value in Skia in Google Chrome prior to 60.0.3112.78 for Mac, Windows, Linux, and Android allowed a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information from process memory via a crafted HTML page.
The bug was discovered 07/25/2017. The weakness was released 10/27/2017 by Takeshi Terada with Ant-financial Light-Year Security Lab (Website). The advisory is shared for download at security.gentoo.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2017-5102 since 01/02/2017. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available.
