A vulnerability was found in Circle with Disney 2.0.1 (Endpoint Management Software). It has been classified as critical. Affected is an unknown code block of the component SSL Certificate Validator. An exploitable vulnerability exists in the remote control functionality of Circle with Disney running firmware 2.0.1. SSL certificates for specific domain names can cause the rclient daemon to accept a different certificate than intended. An attacker can host an HTTPS server with this certificate to trigger this vulnerability.
The bug was discovered 10/31/2017. The weakness was disclosed 11/07/2017 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at talosintelligence.com.
