D-Link DCS-936L devices with firmware before 1.05.07 have an inadequate CSRF protection mechanism that requires the device's IP address to be a substring of the HTTP Referer header.
The bug was discovered 03/26/2017. The weakness was presented 11/15/2017 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at ftp2.dlink.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2017-7851 since 04/13/2017. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation.
