I, Librarian version <=4.6 & 4.7 is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting in the temp.php resulting in an attacker being able to inject malicious client side scripting which will be executed in the browser of users if they visit the manipulated site.
The bug was discovered 05/09/2017. The weakness was disclosed 11/17/2017 (Website). The advisory is shared at sec-consult.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2017-1000236 since 11/16/2017. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
