A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Skybox up to 7.5. This issue affects an unknown functionality of the file /skyboxview/webservice/services/VersionWebService. The manipulation of the argument soapenv:Body with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. An issue was discovered in Skybox Platform before 7.5.401. SQL Injection exists in /skyboxview/webservice/services/VersionWebService via a soapenv:Body element.
The bug was discovered 12/04/2014. The weakness was released 01/12/2018 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at sec-consult.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2015-9249 since 01/12/2018. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
