Inappropriate implementation in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 62.0.3202.62 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page, aka incorrect WebAssembly stack manipulation.
The bug was discovered 10/17/2017. The weakness was shared 02/07/2018 by Kushal Arvind Shah (xisigr) with Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2017-5132 since 01/02/2017. The attack may be launched remotely.
