A vulnerability was found in Wireshark (Packet Analyzer Software) and classified as problematic. This issue affects an unknown functionality of the file epan/dissectors/packet-reload.c of the component Dissector. In Wireshark 2.4.0 to 2.4.4 and 2.2.0 to 2.2.12, epan/dissectors/packet-reload.c had an infinite loop that was addressed by validating a length.
The bug was discovered 02/22/2018. The weakness was published 02/23/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared at bugs.wireshark.org.
