A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in FreeXL up to 1.0.4. Affected by this issue is the function parse_SST. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-119. An issue was discovered in FreeXL before 1.0.5. There is a heap-based buffer over-read in a memcpy call of the parse_SST function.
