A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in OpenDocMan up to 1.2.7 (Document Management Software). OpenDocMan 1.2.7 and earlier does not properly validate allowed actions, which allows remote authenticated users to bypass an intended access restrictions and assign administrative privileges to themselves via a crafted request to signup.php.
The bug was discovered 02/24/2014. The weakness was published 04/10/2018 as confirmed posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is available at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2014-1946 since 02/12/2014. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. A authentication is required for exploitation.
