A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in Cacti up to 1.1.36 (Log Management Software). Affected is the function get_current_page in the library lib/functions.php. The manipulation of the argument $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-79. Cacti before 1.1.37 has XSS because the get_current_page function in lib/functions.php relies on $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] instead of $_SERVER['SCRIPT_NAME'] to determine a page name.
The bug was discovered 03/08/2018. The weakness was disclosed 04/12/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securitytracker.com.
