A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Cacti up to 1.1.36 (Log Management Software). Affected by this issue is the function html_escape in the library lib/html.php. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-79. Cacti before 1.1.37 has XSS because it makes certain htmlspecialchars calls without the ENT_QUOTES flag (these calls occur when the html_escape function in lib/html.php is not used).
The bug was discovered 03/08/2018. The weakness was shared 04/12/2018 (Website). The advisory is available at securitytracker.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2018-10061 since 04/12/2018.
