The bug was discovered 03/13/2018. The weakness was disclosed 04/18/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at assets.nagios.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2018-8735 since 03/15/2018. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely.
