The issue has been introduced in 10/15/2013. The weakness was released 01/14/2014 with Oracle as Oracle Critical Patch Update Advisory - January 2014 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is available at oracle.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2013-5895 since 09/18/2013. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely.
