A vulnerability classified as critical was found in Microsoft Internet Explorer up to 6 (Web Browser). This vulnerability affects an unknown functionality of the component Encoded URL Handler. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.

The vulnerability scanner Nessus provides a plugin with the ID 14235 (Opera < 7.54 Multiple Function Address Bar Spoofing), which helps to determine the existence of the flaw in a target environment.
