A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Schneider Electric U.motion Builder up to 1.3.3 (Automation Software). This issue affects some unknown processing of the file track_import_export.php. The manipulation of the argument object_id as part of a Parameter leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. The vulnerability exists within processing of track_import_export.php in Schneider Electric U.motion Builder software versions prior to v1.3.4. The underlying SQLite database query is subject to SQL injection on the object_id input parameter.
The bug was discovered 04/19/2018. The weakness was disclosed 07/03/2018 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at schneider-electric.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2018-7765 since 03/08/2018. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
