Check_MK through 1.2.5i2p1 allows local users to read arbitrary files via a symlink attack to a file in /var/lib/check_mk_agent/job.

The bug was discovered 05/27/2014. The weakness was published 07/19/2018 by Markus Vervier with LSE Leading Security Experts as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is available at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-0243 since 12/03/2013. Local access is required to approach this attack.
