Multiple cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerabilities in the Enterprise Manager in McAfee Vulnerability Manager (MVM) 7.5.5 and earlier allow remote attackers to hijack the authentication of users for requests that modify HTML via unspecified vectors related to the "response web page."
The weakness was disclosed 01/09/2014 by Nuri Fattah as SB10061 as confirmed bulletin (Website). The advisory is available at kc.mcafee.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2014-1473 since 01/15/2014. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are unknown but an exploit is available.

The vulnerability scanner Nessus provides a plugin with the ID 72588 (McAfee Vulnerability Manager Enterprise Manager Multiple Vulnerabilities (SB10061)), which helps to determine the existence of the flaw in a target environment. Upgrading to version 7.0.11.05002_EM, 7.5.4.05007_EM or 7.5.5.05002_EM eliminates this vulnerability. Applying the patch SB10061 is able to eliminate this problem.
