A vulnerability was found in Microsoft Internet Explorer 8/9/10/11 (Web Browser) and classified as critical. This issue affects some unknown functionality. Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 through 10 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted web site, aka "Internet Explorer Memory Corruption Vulnerability."
The issue has been introduced in 06/02/1998. The weakness was published 02/11/2014 by Bo Qu with Palo Alto Networks as MS14-010 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is shared at technet.microsoft.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-0272 since 12/03/2013. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
