A vulnerability classified as critical was found in ASUSTOR Data Master up to 3.1.5. This vulnerability affects an unknown code of the component Web Server. ASUSTOR Data Master 3.1.5 and below allows authenticated remote non-administrative users to upload files to arbitrary locations due to a path traversal vulnerability. This could lead to code execution if the "Web Server" feature is enabled.
The bug was discovered 06/24/2018. The weakness was shared 08/27/2018 (Website). The advisory is available at tenable.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2018-15694 since 08/22/2018.
