A vulnerability was found in Citrix ShareFile 2.4 on Android (Connectivity Software) and classified as problematic. Citrix ShareFile Mobile and ShareFile Mobile for Tablets before 2.4.4 for Android do not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers, which allow man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate.

The weakness was released 02/18/2014 by Alexandru Gherman with FortConsult as CTX140303 as confirmed advisory (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at support.citrix.com. The public release was coordinated with Citrix. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-1910 since 02/07/2014. The attack may be initiated remotely.
