A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Google Chrome up to 32.0.1700.107 (Web Browser). This issue affects an unknown functionality of the component Web Contents Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a resource management vulnerability. Use-after-free vulnerability in the web contents implementation in Google Chrome before 33.0.1750.117 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via vectors involving attempted conflicting access to the color chooser.
The weakness was disclosed 02/20/2014 by Antoine Delignat-Lavaud (Cloudfuzzer) with Google as Stable Channel Update as confirmed release notes (Blog). The advisory is shared at googlechromereleases.blogspot.ch. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2013-6653 since 11/05/2013. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. The advisory points out:

The vulnerability scanner Nessus provides a plugin with the ID 72617 (Google Chrome < 33.0.1750.117 Multiple Vulnerabilities (Mac OS X)), which helps to determine the existence of the flaw in a target environment. It is assigned to the family MacOS X Local Security Checks. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 122901 (Debian Security Update for chromium-browser (DSA 2883-1)).
Upgrading to version 33.0.1750.117 eliminates this vulnerability. The upgrade is hosted for download at chrome.google.com. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability. The release notes contains the following remark:
