A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in MetInfo 6.1.0 (Content Management System). This issue affects the function doexport of the file app/system/feedback/admin/feedback_admin.class.php. The manipulation of the argument class1 with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. MetInfo 6.1.0 has XSS in doexport() in app/system/feedback/admin/feedback_admin.class.php via the class1 field.
The bug was discovered 08/15/2018. The weakness was released 09/17/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared at github.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2018-17129 since 09/16/2018. The attack may be initiated remotely. A simple authentication is needed for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
