Directory traversal vulnerability in McAfee Web Gateway (MWG) 7.4.x before 7.4.1, 7.3.x before 7.3.2.6, and 7.2.0.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files via a crafted request to the web filtering port.

The weakness was presented 02/24/2014 by Ilyas Orak with Biznet Bilisim as SB10063 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared for download at kc.mcafee.com. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-2535 since 03/18/2014. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
