A vulnerability was found in WatchGuard XTM up to 11.8.1 and classified as problematic. This issue affects an unknown function of the file /firewall/policy/. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in the firewall policy management pages in WatchGuard Fireware XTM before 11.8.3 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the pol_name parameter.
The weakness was disclosed 03/13/2014 by William Costa as File 125720 as confirmed advisory (Packetstorm). The advisory is shared at packetstormsecurity.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-0338 since 12/05/2013. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
