A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in Tryton up to 5.0.0. This affects an unknown function of the file bus.py of the component Client. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a session fixiation vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-384. Authenticating a user, or otherwise establishing a new user session, without invalidating any existing session identifier gives an attacker the opportunity to steal authenticated sessions. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:
The client in Tryton 5.x before 5.0.1 tries to make a connection to the bus in cleartext instead of encrypted under certain circumstances in bus.py and jsonrpc.py. This connection attempt fails, but it contains in the header the current session of the user. This session could then be stolen by a man-in-the-middle.
