WebHybridClient.java in PayPal 5.3 and earlier for Android ignores SSL errors, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information.

This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2013-7201 since 12/23/2013. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1587.003 for this issue.
