A vulnerability was found in TerraMaster TOS 3.1.03 (Network Attached Storage Software). It has been rated as problematic. This issue affects an unknown functionality of the file usertable.php. The manipulation of the argument modgroup as part of a Parameter leads to a cross-site request forgery vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-352. The web application does not, or can not, sufficiently verify whether a well-formed, valid, consistent request was intentionally provided by the user who submitted the request. Impacted is integrity. Cross-site scripting in usertable.php in TerraMaster TOS version 3.1.03 allows attackers to execute JavaScript via the "modgroup" parameter.
The bug was discovered 06/13/2018. The weakness was published 11/27/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared at blog.securityevaluators.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2018-13359 since 07/05/2018. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available.

By approaching the search of inurl:usertable.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
