A vulnerability has been found in Apple iCloud up to 7.8.1 on Windows (Cloud Software) and classified as critical. A memory corruption issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue affected versions prior to iOS 12.1.1, tvOS 12.1.1, watchOS 5.1.2, Safari 12.0.2, iTunes 12.9.2 for Windows, iCloud for Windows 7.9.
The bug was discovered 12/05/2018. The weakness was presented 12/05/2018 by Ryan Pickren (lokihardt) with Google Project Zero as HT209346 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at support.apple.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2018-4443 since 01/02/2018. The attack can be launched remotely.
