Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in FEBS-Shiro. This affects the function fileDownload of the file /common/download?filename=1.jsp&delete=false. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality. The summary by CVE is:
An issue was discovered in the fileDownload function in the CommonController class in FEBS-Shiro before 2018-11-05.
