A vulnerability has been found in Adobe Flash Player up to 12.0.0.77 (Multimedia Player Software) and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown code. Buffer overflow in Adobe Flash Player before 11.7.700.275 and 11.8.x through 13.0.x before 13.0.0.182 on Windows and OS X and before 11.2.202.350 on Linux, Adobe AIR before 13.0.0.83 on Android, Adobe AIR SDK before 13.0.0.83, and Adobe AIR SDK & Compiler before 13.0.0.83 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via unspecified vectors.
The weakness was released 04/08/2014 with Zero Day Initiative as APSB14-09 as confirmed advisory (Website) via Zero Day Initiative (ZDI). The advisory is shared for download at helpx.adobe.com. The public release was coordinated with the vendor. This vulnerability was named CVE-2014-0507 since 12/20/2013. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available.
